I am an adult student with no prior music experience. I'm using a nice entry level Taylor acoustic guitar that is good for motivation because when played correctly sounds good. Everyone's journey is a little different. You need to have patience and put the time in . Quantum guitar, Kirk will supply the lessons you need to get you on track. I've got a long way to go but continue to make progress.

Kirk taught me how to play my drum set! Very nice guy, and never got frustrated with my mediocre skills. He was sure to teach me basic beats and took the time to teach me things that I wanted to learn. My sister and father took guitar lessons from Kirk, and we had times that we would all play together, which was awesome!

I went to Kirk for awhile to learn the guitar. I had a blast and learned a lot about music in general as well as guitar. He does a great job of teaching the concepts and theory but keeping it fun and interesting. We are still good buddies to this day even tho life got in the way of me being the next guitar master. I highly recommend getting with him for lessons no matter what age or level you are.

I’ve been playing guitar on and off for 10+ years, have had other teachers and other forms of lessons. But Quantum offers the best experience I’ve had so far. Kirk is a lot of fun to work with, his lessons are throughly gone over and he offers great tips and suggestions to help make playing easier. I take my lessons online and it’s so nice to be able to walk into my office plug in and learn a little each week. Would definitely recommend if you wanna better understand the guitar while increasing your playing abilities.

I HIGHLY recommend anyone take lessons with Mr. Kirk. He is BY FAR the absolute best guitar teacher I could have asked for my daughter to have. She is so shy but he really helps her come out of her shell. He finds music that he knows she will be interested in. He is a great listener and remembers the little details that are so important to her. He knows which chords she struggles with and helps her work on those. He is never condescending or rude. He is always kind and is so patient with her. Honestly, he has the patience of a saint. I don't know if she would have stuck with guitar for as long as she has if it wasn't for Mr. Kirk.

This is one of the most professional instructors I have ever worked with. He is a talented musician who is dedicated to teaching the art of music. Good communication skills are very beneficial to the learning process and his passion for all areas of music is inspiring. He focuses on the implementation of fundamental aspects such as posture and hand positions and in addition understands the importance of fundamental music theory ideas. He is mindful of his students capabilities and is very patient. I feel his students aquire the skills they need to improve their creativity and gain independence. The lessons are exciting and fun as well as goal oriented. He is a qualified, experienced, supportive, and knowledgeable instructor who creates the ideal foundation for the future of his student’s musical journey.

Kirk is very knowledgeable and able to translate aspects of guitar for players that aren't well versed in theory. He also keeps all the lessons very engaging by relating the topics covered to your guitar idols and how they incorporated the different pieces into their playing.

Kirk is very understanding and accommodating. He properly tailored his teachings to my goals and skill level, and he's always been patient with my slow progress. While they can be pretty challenging, his lessons are always fun and laid back. I very much enjoyed all my sessions with him!

Kirk is an awesome instructor. He got me through the basics on the first lesson, I’ve never learned anything that fast. By the third or fourth lesson I had already felt really comfortable with the guitar. It’s been about a year now & I still see Kirk almost every week.
