Sean is an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable and most importantly he is very patient. I am an older student and took "in person" lessons with Sean for several years. I then moved out of State and have been doing online lessons with him. At first I was skeptical as to how online lessons would work. It turns out that online lessons work great, and I don't have to leave the house! If you are looking for a great teacher, look no further.

I take acoustic guitar lessons. My 13 year old daughter takes ukulele lessons. We’ve been with Sean about 18mo. Unlike youtube videos, Sean is able to watch me, listen to me, and make subtle corrections that I never imagined in learning guitar. How my fingers are angled, how to always be muting, strum hand positions, all sorts of scales and chords, a little music history and theory. I tell him what song I want to learn, and he teaches me. Sublime, janes addiction, Pearl Jam, blues stuff. We highly recommend Sean.

I learned from Sean for about 5 years and I honestly feel I could not have found a better teacher. For the first 3 years Sean helped me build a strong foundation that created a love for guitar. Having the opportunity to be in-person was outstandingly helpful, and it showed in my rapid progression which can solely be attributed to my lesson times with Sean (I didn’t have a lot of time to practice on my own) and the past 2 years we spent using the knowledge I had developed to reconstruct music I was interested in by-ear. The time I spent in lessons whether learning guitar, talking about music, hearing about his experiences and connections to the music we studied and even unrelated conversations were fantastic.
