About Kostyantyn
I've been playing guitar for over 12 years, I write solo music and for 3 local metal bands (Zero South, Mandala, Final Vice).
I have a BA in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts (ICAM) from UC San Diego where I studied recording and production techniques and music programming. I also performed many times with the university's Musicians' Club before forming Zero South.

I started teaching guitar in 2017 while in college as a way to make some extra money. Since then I have improved my own guitar playing as well as my teaching ability.
I have played guitar for 12 years, learning various styles and techniques but primarily focusing on electric guitar.
During my time at UC San Diego I studied basic music theory, recording and production techniques, and music programming. I have experience developing digital effects and instruments.

Asking about their prior experience, if any. If I'm working with someone new to guitar and music in general, I'll try a simple exercise with them to gauge how well/ quickly they might learn and how simple/ difficult material I could give them
Children ages 7-13, would love to also work with older children and adults
Find someone who does more than just make you play songs. I heavily emphasize technique, because whenever I find and fix issues with my own playing technique, I find it greatly improves my playing ability.
