About Andrew
My name is Andrew Riccio and I currently work as a Perm Sub teacher. I recently finished my undergraduate at Suny Old Westbury with a bachelors degree in Adolescent Education with a focus on Social Studies. I am fully certified to teach Social Studies in New York from grades 7-12, as I have passed all of the New York State certification exams. I am also a memeber of the Social Studies Honor Society called Phi Alpha Theta. I have a passion for teaching as I truly believe students learn from their teachers just as much as teachers learn from their students. My goal here is to provide students with the necessary strategies and information in order for them to succeed in class.
I currently work as a Permanete Substitute, I have a bachelors degree in Adolescent Education: Social Studies. I have my certification in Social Studies to teach Social Studies grades 7-12.

When working with a new student, I think it his best to first see what preferences the student has when learning, as everyone learns differently. Before the session, if possible, it would be beneficial to know what topic the student currently needs help on so that I can come well prepared with material if none is provided.
