About Caitlin
A certified teacher in grades 6-12th in Social studies and Political Science. A recent graduate with the want to help students understand history and government even better. I'm all about teaching history from differnet angles, but still making those connections to big topics. I grew up submerged in history and can't wait to share my knowledge with students.
I'm a recent graduate of Western Michigan University from their teaching program. I've student taught at two high schools and one middle school. I've been subbing the last two years when I wasn't student teaching or in class. I've also participated in professional development to continue my teaching skills and style.

First, I want to know what area of social stusdies they are working on. I want to know what they've enjoyed and areas they strugggled with. After that I want to discuss with them their testing and how they do on them. After i get this information I would help them better understand areas they struggle in and connect them with what they already know. Also, I would teach it to a student so when it came to tests they wouldn't struggle so much.
