(Information on Myself)

I am a student of History that is proficent in the above and I am willing to learn more in the future. This is my first real time teaching online and I am willing to do as best as I can to help as much as possible. I will not complete specific assignments for students but I will provide academic help with the above subjects.

As a fellow student, I can relate to those that are currently going through school and/or need assistance with academic concepts that may appear daunting. This sort of relation can be beneficial to a teaching environment by offering sympathy.

Otherwise, I will do my best by using my knowledge and helpful nature to assist as many students as possible with the variety of above subjects. If there are any questions or inquiries that I can answer, I am open.

(Experience)

Currently in High School and I am willing to help people from college down to elementary with historical/geographical questions or concerns.

I have no real certification or degree (as I'm still in High School) but I am planning on earning several certifications and eventually a Ph.D in History once the time comes.

(Notes)

I speak English but I am semi-fluent in Spanish (currently in my 8th Year of learning).

I have always had a passion for history and geography alike and have a great knowledge and understanding of both concepts. I have taught myself where schools have failed, usually covering more details or more content then schools have.

With that said, I have no real "training" but I'm sure that I can learn as I go. I don't mean to discourage, but I am confident that I can help all that come to me for help.

Usually I would ask the student the following questions,

"What is the specific subject that you are having trouble with?"

"Is there a certain concept that you find difficult with the subject?"

These questions would usually be helpful in finding out what specific trouble the student is having and I would implement a few interpretations of the material to show that there are always two or more sides to a problem.

If that fails, then I would try to create an analogy that would be relating to another subject that the student may find interesting or likeable (eg. Current Events, sports, etc.)

By that point, the problem should be resolved (it has worked with fellow students my age) so there would be some sort of closure there. I would then ask if there were any other issues that I could help with and I would do my best to resolve them (if any).

I have worked with students of most ages (excluding elementary students) but I am willing to work with all that I meet.

I have also worked with students are varying interests and intellects. Many of whom have not had an interest nor desire to explore/learn history or geography. My experience incorporates students with varying abilities and disabilities.

Although my certifications are limited, I am very applicable to the students that require assitance and will do my best to answer questions and provide assistance as needed.
