About Seán
Haigh, Salut, Hey !
I am an experienced tutor with 2+ years experience in leaving certificate preparation. I am currently a student in Maynooth University studying French and Nua-Ghaeilge, with one of the most respected modern languages schools and Roinn na Nua-Ghaeilge pioneering in over 200 years of excellence of Irish language education, I am deeply passionate about the two languages.
Having achieved H1's in both subjects in my own leaving cert, delivering lessons for over two years and residence in the Scéim Chónaithe within my university, I am more than understanding of the challenges of learners.
I strive to teach in a manner that is comfortable for you. Questions are welcomed always and don't be afraid to have a laugh, language learning can be fun!

The lessons are delivered via Microsoft Teams, upon your request you may ask for me to record the lesson and for me to send it to you on email after for you to look back on at a later time. Lessons last 1hr and are specifically for 6th year higher level students of both languages for 2026.
I am a very understanding person and passionate about the two languages. I understand that languages may sometimes seem scary or you may not know where to begin, I look forward to helping you navigate through that! I have 2+ years experience tutoring and also have experience as an oral examiner, with all my last cohort of students last year ranging from H1-H3's, thus I have a very good understanding of marking schemes and papers alike. Questions are also very welcome in my lessons :)
* NON EXAM STUDENTS: I also provide tutoring on both languages as a non-examinable subject. Please do inquire*
A dual two-hour lesson of Gaeilge and French can be offered at the price of 70 euro.
