About Spiros
Hi, I’m Spiros Aristodemou! I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and reach their full potential. Teaching is something I’ve always enjoyed, whether it was helping my peers in school or supporting students during my tutoring role at Archbishop Beck College. Seeing someone go from feeling stuck to having that “lightbulb moment” is what motivates me every day. Why I Want to Teach: For me, tutoring isn’t just about grades—it’s about helping students believe in their abilities and discover new ways to tackle challenges. I understand that learning can feel overwhelming at times, but with the right support and methods, any subject can be mastered. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing with each session. I’m excited to work with students of all confidence levels, whether you’re aiming for top grades or need help with the fundamentals. How I Help You Succeed: I achieve these results by: Reviewing past papers to identify key areas of improvement. Guiding you step-by-step through challenging questions. Tailoring every method to your unique learning style—whether that’s problem-solving exercises, exam technique strategies, or visual aids—to ensure concepts are understood, not just memorised. Flexible Lesson Structure: A typical session is 1 hour, but I’m flexible to suit your needs. Whether you need: Quick sessions for tricky concepts or extended exam prep sessions; I’ll adapt to your confidence level and learning goals. Why Learn with Me? Achieved 4 A’s at A-Level (Including Maths, and Physics). Earned 6 As and 4 A*s at GCSE, including top marks across core subjects. Gained hands-on experience helping peers excel in and outside of class. Completed a year-long role as a Maths tutor at Archbishop Beck College, supporting A-Level and GCSE students—including resit students—and helping many improve their confidence and results. I had a 1-1 session with Spiros to go through some A-Level Physics exam questions, and I can’t believe how much more I understood by the end of it. He’s super patient and takes the time to figure out where you’re stuck. What stood out is how well he knows the exam style and how to approach tricky questions. He helped me see how to break down problems and apply the concepts in a way that made sense. It wasn’t just a one-off—every session, I’ve felt more confident. He’s approachable and genuinely wants to help you do well, which makes him really trustworthy as a tutor.
I’ve worked with Spiros in weekly group support sessions for GCSE Maths resits, and honestly, he’s one of the reasons I feel so much more confident about my exams. He breaks everything down into simple, step-by-step explanations and never makes me feel like I’m asking a silly question. What I really appreciate is that he’s consistent and reliable—we know he’ll show up every week and be ready to help. He even notices when I’m struggling before I say anything and goes out of his way to explain it again until I get it. You can tell he really cares, which is why I trust him with my progress.
