About
Hi! My name is Megan and I've always enjoyed teaching others Math. Growing up i was on the advanced math track, so when my friends needed help in math it was usually a topic I had learned the semester or year before. My approach to math was always rooted in logic and simple examples, and after explaining a concept to my friends I'd often get the question "that makes sense, why didn't the teacher explain it like that?" Truly the highest level compliment, and it was always rewarding for me to see the light bulb go off when it finally clicked for my friends. I'd often babysit when I was in high-school and I'd always help the kids with their homework because teaching felt natural and fun for me. I pursued a data analytics career because of my love for math and especially statistics, but recently I've found myself lacking a sense of purpose and satisfaction with my work, so now I'm looking for ways to find that again hopefully by sharing my love of math with children again.
