About Michael

I love what I do, and I love teaching, and it shows. I like to customize my lessons to fit with what my student's goals are. Every individual student gets to progress at their own pace.

I love everything about it. I love seeing people make progress and accomplishing their goals. I enjoy helping people build skills that they can use to empower themselves.

I love studying and learning this art so much that I wanted to be able to share what I have learned. I will be a life long student, myself. There is always more to discover.

I am a certified, third degree black belt, awarded by the Kobukan Karate Federation, and licensed to teach the art of Matsumura Shorin Ryu karate.

About the lesson

I start with the basics, because the basics of karate are the foundation that everything else is built upon. I love to see people learning and enjoying this art. I also like to help people make progress and achieve their goals.

I have worked with people from all different backgrounds. I enjoy meeting all kinds of folks, and sharing this art with them. It doesn't matter who you are, karate has something to offer all of us. Kids and adults alike.

Cara

I like the way he explains and demonstrates techniques. He shows you not only how to execute the move, but also shows why it is done that way.

I love the classes, and the way he teaches makes you understand that karate is much more than kicks and punches.
