About Makenna
Hey! My name is Makenna but people just call me Kenna. I am senior in high school. I think math is a great tool to learn for the future. Some people think that math is too hard for them and I like to help teach them that it isn't. I like teaching people to look at an equation from a different perspective and that is how I'd plan on teaching. I am however new to tutoring people outside of my school. I have taken advance math classes though and I plan on majoring in math when I go to college. So because I am still a student I don't any qualifications other than loving math. I have a linkedin account. It is Kenna Anderson. I also have an instagram dedicated to any schoolwork. It is @studymat3
People in my math classes have seen how fast I understood the concepts and have asked me to help them learn it. So whenever people have asked for help I have just helped them.
I have take Algebra 1 (freshman year), Geometry (sophomore year), Pre-AP Algebra 2 (junior year), Pre Calculus (senior year). I am in my senior year so I can't help that much with calculus.

For a new student I want them to be comfortable so how they want the session to go thats how it'll go. If they only want to talk about the problem that's ok but if they also want to make small talk then that's also ok. My goal is to help them learn the problem better. If I can't help then I will offer resources and other people who can help.
Mostly people in my grade/class. However I have helped anyone who has asked for my help.
Don't be shy to ask any question. I know that's a very common answer but I am a very patent person and I don't mind repeating or refrasing something any number of times.
I'm fond of the look people get when that lightbulb goes off in their head when they get what we are learning about.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think that they should come with questions already thought out and writen down if need be but if they think of any question then I will be happy to answer.

Details
My starting out rate will be $10 an hour but my pricing rate can vary. The higher the math level the higher the price by the hour.
