About Amaya
I love teaching my students that math is easy once you get the hang of it! It takes some time and practice, but it is well worth it! I especially enjoy online tutoring because it is very convenient for both me and my students!
I enjoy teaching my students and seeing them feel a lot better about math! It is easy to get intimidated by some of math's complex problems, but you get better with practice!

My typical process for working with a new student is as follows:
-I get to know their personal skill level in math
-teach them how to solve math problems that challenge them step-by step (I break the problems into pieces so that it is easier fo them to comprhend)
-and help them with any tests, quizzes, notes, or homework they want to go over and practice (I can also help them prepare for assessments)
-then, continue working with my student from there on whatever they need for their following online tutoring sessions
