About Matt
My tutoring stands out because I am very enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate toward teaching students. I am young so that may be off putting to people, but I just learned the information that I want to teach, so it comes so much easier to me. I also spend as much time as needed outside of our sessions to properly prepare so that our sessions are as efficient as possible. I am a Chemical Engineering student, but my dream is to teach someday. Tutoring is a way for me to live my dream now.
I care about each of the students I teach. The reason that I love tutoring is seeing the excitement that students get once they start improving in a subject. I will put all of myself into helping students improve, because their success matters to me.

Perfect! Matt is very thorough, provides a video and audio recording of each session, as well as very detailed follow up and a short homework assignment. He also works with the teachers to provide lessons that closely match what my student is learning and I really think this was a great way to experience tutoring for the first time in a virtual setting.
Perfect! He did a terrific job getting me up to date on Engineering Calculus 1. He was kind and flexible with his schedule. Not more can be asked for.
Perfect! Does a great job explaining not only how to do something but why, it makes understanding and applying the concepts so much easier. I wouldn’t have even half the success that I have had without Matt. Also such a nice guy.
