About Megan
Hi! My name is Megan and I am an outgoing and friendly recent graduate of Vanderbilt University. I have 6+ years of experience in tutoring and teaching math and other subjects (Science, Computer Science, French, SAT prep). Currently, I work as a language teaching assistant in France. Prior to this, during my time at Vanderbilt, I worked as both a substitute teacher and private tutor for a variety of subjects. As an instructor, I am determined to find creative ways to help my students understand difficult concepts and push them to be their best. Also, I am very reliable and organized, so the logistics of scheduling will not be a problem!
There is nothing more exciting than seeing a light bulb go off for my students. I have been in their shoes before, so I understand how rewarding it is for them to put in hard work to reach a goal.

Before working with each student, I meet with the student and/or parents to better understand their goals, schedule, and preferred learning style. Then, I outline a possible plan that will work for the group, and we go from there!
I have worked with all types of students. Currently, I work teaching English with high school students, but in the past, I have worked with both middle and elementary school students, too. Having worked in education in Nashville, France, and online during the pandemic, I have worked with students of all different backgrounds.
