About Grant
I am a student in electrical engineering, so I love math and it's applications. I have gone through every math course that my high school offered, and have passed both of my college math classes with A's. I have tutored my friends and siblings for a while, and they have said I have a knack for it, so I decided to give it a try here. I ask that you send me the topic you are working on at least a day in advance, as it will give me time to review it and best help you.
I started by helping out my friends in math classes they were in, and then helping out my siblings and their friends, and then started tutoring multiple groups.
I have passed all math classes except for statistics up to calculus 3 with A's.

First making sure that they understand the underlying theory behind what they are working with, and then going through specific examples, making sure to be patient with the student.
I have worked with elementary students through my college peers.
Hiring someone who is of a younger age may be less intimidating because you know that they have gone through what you have to recently.
I recently helped out one of my friends who is in high school geometry, and hearing that my help allowed him to get his first A on a math test ever made me extremely happy.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure they truly need help understanding the concepts and aren't just making the tutor do the heavy lifting for them
