About Tia
When tutoring children, no matter the age you have to have that gentle mood, the gentle touch and I think I have that. Helping raise both my nephews and even dedicating 3 years to be a full time live in nanny, I have that gentleness they need to really be able to take in and understand the material. I've had the desire to become a high school Math school teacher since middle school and I start my classes at FSCJ January 2021. I'm very excited to get into the field of teaching students and helping them comprehend and understand the material step by step. Getting into tutoring would really help with not only my resume but it would give me those extra skills I needed to achieve my goal.
I've helped family friends and memeber with their school work. I have sen siblings so there was plenty of teaching going around.

Typically I would use index cards when helping the child learn/study. I would write a question on there then give the child time to work on the problem. Once done, we'll go over it. If it's wrong I'm going to tell them why and teach them how to get the correct answer. Even if it's right, I'd still go through the steps of how and why the answer is correct.

Details
Typically I'd charge $13-$15 an hour which would inculde 3 days a week for 2 hours or I would do a weekly rate of $300 which includes 3 days a week for 3 hours.
