About SaVannah
My name is SaVannah Coker! I have always had a passion for math. It has always been my favorite subject, and I have always enjoyed the challenges that it brings!
I graduated with Highest Honors and a Mississippi Scholars Award. I am still continuing my education at Mississippi State University. I am two semesters away from graduating with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I am specializing in math.
For the past 3 years, I have worked with students who struggle in math. I have seen these students achieve great success!
I would love to help you or your child with their math!
I have a passion for helping others learn. I also like to learn, and I feel that teaching helps me to keep learning.
I am an Elementary Education major with an endorsement in math. I have tutored students in math for three years.

I like to get to know them. I want to find out their interest and hobbies, what they like about school and what they don't like. I feel that building a relationship makes tutoring more enjoyable for both of us!
Pick someone you are comfortable with! Be honest with your teacher about what you do or do not understand.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think the student needs to think about exactly what they struggle with. They need to be prepared to answer questions that the teacher may have about the areas that they struggle in.
