About Cindy
I love helping students become successful in an area where they may struggle. Some students may take a little longer to master a concept than others; therefore, if they can receive one-on-one tutoring until they master it, they can become proficient. I currently work as a school counselor and see the struggle some students experience and my passion is to help them find confidence in themselves regarding mathematics. I have been in education for about 23 years with 12 of those years as a mathematics classroom teacher and the rest as a school counselor. I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics education from Delta State University and a Master's Degree in school counseling from Mississippi College.
It is very rewarding for me when I see a student making progress and realizing their potential.
I have loved math my entire life so it just seemed natural to want to help others who struggled with it.
I taught math for 12 years and have tutored outside of school since then.

I assess where the student is and try to keep them up-to-date on current assignments and as time allows review concepts that may have been missed prior causing some of the difficulties.
