About Zach
I was a top achiever in my class throughout my educational journey, consistently receiving high marks, grades, and standardized test scores.
I have a passion & feel a responsibility for helping students achieve their maximum potential.
I spent a year and a half teaching a variety of classes in special and general education (math, reading, science, Spanish, phys. ed.) to students K-10.
I coached the middle school basketball team.

I spent three semesters working as a special education paraprofessional. During this time, I was able to work with students K-10 across a variety of classes. I spent time working one-on-one, in small groups, and in large group settings. I had opportunities to lead general education classes in Math.

The first step would be getting to know the student and building a relationship. Without a healthy relationship between student and teacher, the learning environment is not ideal. I work to learn their interests and hobbies, finding some common ground between us, and connect the learning to the students individual interests.
I have worked with students of general and special education needs. ASD, DCD, and ODD were the most common diagnoses of my special education students.
