About Sally

Improving any skill takes the right mindset. Our mission is to show students they they have the power to improve their math skills and enjoy the challenge. We use lots of positive reinforcement along with every trick in the book to help students with their basic skills, their ability to visualize the mathematical concepts, and learn how to use resources such as textbooks and technology to find answers for themselves. Se habla español.

I first started teaching at the age of fourteen. I helped a sixth grader understand fractions using measuring cups and spoons to do a baking project.

I have certified to teach High School Mathematics in Virginia, New York State, and California. I have over 10 years' experience as a classroom teacher, substitute, and tutor for students aged 5 - adult, from a wide variety of needs and socio-economic backgrounds.
