About Ian
Hello,
My name is Ian Karrington. I am a third year medical student at NYU School of Medicine, one of the top 10 medical schools in the US, and plan to pursue pediatrics. I am passionate about helping kids and adolescents find study techniques that work for them and breaking down complex topics. One method that I employ is making fun cartoons to help remember difficult concepts. I look forward to meeting you and helping you succeed in all of your subjects!
My work in the medical field has helped train me on how to approach teaching from multiple angles to find the one that best works for the patient.

I first sit with kids and talk to them about the subject we will go over, what they like, what they dislike, and what they find challenging. Then, I talk to them about study techniques. We then create an open dialogue to find different ways of explaining concepts to foster a deeper understanding of the material.
