About Richard
German Physicist (German Diplom), Programmer, Engineer (PhD in progress) & passioned Lecturer.
After years of experience with first grade semester students in STEM topics, i know what most schools are missing out and what kind of individual support is needed to make people really understand math.
To pass the exams in school, learning is sufficient. But to apply and work with math, real understanding is mandatory.
I offer individual and authentic one-to-one tuition for several levels of education.
Visit my Homepage and check out the example videos if you are interested.
Commercial tutoring is only focussed on passing the exam. but this is not enough if you want to make it later on (e.g. at some STEM degree). If you are interested in real education about math and you want that it becomes EASY to you, visit:
(concealed information)
I like to open the eyes of students. Most of students never had someone that spend the time and explained enough details about the fundamentals.
Math is all about logic and deduction. So if something is missing early on, you cannot catch up later.
I love to give people confidence about math eventually making them confident about almost everything else as well.
I started teaching in my A Level, when friends asked me how to code certain tasks in C++.
In the years i studied physics, i gave tutoring to children of friends and other locals.
For one year i teached physics and math classes to syrian refugees and i also held classes for STEM studends about different topics such as pre university math, complex analysis, medical imaging techniques, and more.
I studied physics and received the german diploma in computer-oriented theoretical physics.
Afterwards I started my doctorate (bureaucracy still in progress) in medical engineering, in particular high-performance computing of mathematical reconstruction techniques in computed tomography.
In other words:
I am a nerd. But not one who can't express himself. On the contrary!
As I have been giving tutoring since my school days and have been a lecturer at the university.
Most students lack authentic understanding of mathematics and I know how to fix this problem.
Thus, I know exactly that a fear of equations arises from lack of understanding.
I know exactly what it takes to turn this relationship around... To gain from the understanding of mathematics the form of self-confidence to pursue one's own dreams. Whether school, studies or apprenticeship.
Self-confidence through deep understanding distinguishes the competent from the posers.
That's it:
Math confidence for school or university through authentic understanding.

Often times students dont even know what exactly they cant grasp and why they struggle with math.
It starts with one task. E.g. the latest home work or an exam.
Usually i start to explain how i would solve it and after a few minutes i see what kind of individual struggle or uncertainty about a fundamental aspect hides in the customer.
The individual dialog and the openess leads to efficient feedback loops that eventually create what i call authentic understanding of math.
Everything from 15 to 35. Even PhD's and engineering colleagues.
That its not just about passing an exam. Its about real education and that superficial goals will only lead to superficial solutions. Eventually leading the big misconception on the difference between learning and real understanding.
Especially in mathematics, its all about curiosity, intuition, creativity and fun. With more experience, new ways of thought and fresh ideas will overlap to other areas of your life. Ultimately resulting in a more confident person.
The last CT-Meeting (even tho it was fully online due to COVID-19).
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Well, as i said. It usually starts with one simple task. A home work or a past exam.

Mr. Bismark solved not only complicated homework for my son, he also helped him to dig deep into the matter. After teaching, my son can solve all kinds of questions by himself. He also improved in other areas he struggled with in the past. I can only recommend Richard Bismark as an online tutor.
Mr. Bismark convinces with his profound understanding. His direct
manner makes it very easy to learn in dialogue.
Every single session gave our child the self-confidence needed to work
with equations!
The investment is worthwhile every time, as other subjects (e.g.
physics) become easier through the mathematical skills imparted.Much more than expected. My daughter (16) now feels empowered. Only after 3 sessions. That is amazing!
Richard helped me a great deal, to get my linear Algebra up to snuff. Highly recommendable.
Simply a great guy. He has a natural feel for what my son could not grasp. I am satistfied all over with that tutoring service.
Super fast reply. The intuitive approach really helped me to understand things i thought i know already. Finding old weak spots and establish understanding of the new subjects was simply mind blowing.
Richard Bismark definetly helped my confidence.View more recommendations

I usually price 60 $ (~50 Euro) per hour. For long term clients this can be reduced.
If the subject matter is somewhat too advanced for me to handle it on the fly, i increase the costs depending on the time spend.
