About Adam
I am currently finishing college so most of my math work is fresh in my mind, and physics is the degree I am studying for and have already passed the Physics Praxis Exam for becoming a Physics teacher. I have been tutoring for about half a year so far and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have tutored everything from AP Physics to Algebra 1.
I enjoy the variance in problem sets and the fun of figuring out a challenge problem. Being able to tie together the mathematics, especially calculus, into my physics learning is what I enjoy the most. My biggest enjoyment from teaching is the feeling of truly getting students to understand the material and not need me anymore to do the problem. This is reflected in my teaching methods where I won't give answers to problems or do them for a student but instead we'll gradually work through it together and discuss the places where issues occur.
