About Alexandria
Hello, my name is Alexandria. I worked at the St. Petersburg College and tutored math for a year. I wored at Tarpon Springs Middle School and tutored math in a classroom for a year and a half. I just recieved my Associate's degree on December 14th and my major is in mathematics. I really love helping students in math. I know that it can be a very challenging subject for many, so I love finding ways to help people understand math. All of our minds are different, and we process things differently, so I love tutoring because it is like a personalized lesson plan that is fit to work with a student's thought process.

Take a look at their notes and/or their book so I can see what they're working on. Ask them to do an example problem to see what they're not understanding. Give them vocabulary and background information based off of what they aren't understanding. Show them how to do the problem correctly and break down the details. Work through a few more sample problems with the student. Have the student do the rest of the sample problems on their own.
