About Janelle
Hello, I've been a math and elementary school teacher for 10 years. In high school and college I've tutoring classmates and in a tutoring center. I enjoy teaching Basic Math, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. I prefer to tutor on zoom or google hangouts, but am open to traveling to you if necessary. I tend to be easy going, but will push you to do your best. Math can be easy and fun (even if you hate it).
I enjoy working with students and helping them to feel accomplished. I enjoy making math easy and fun! I also like getting to know others and enjoy silly jokes.
I was always helping others in my class in high school. I enjoyed helping the teacher and explaining lessons. I went to CSUSB and got my degree in math. After college I taught for 7 years in junior high and high school. I quit to be a stay at home mom with my 5 children. Now that my children are a little older I have some free time in the afternoons to help others with math.
I was a math tutor in high school and college. I was a math teacher for 7 years. I currently teach elementary school where my kids attend. I enjoy teaching and helping students.

I find out what area they are currently working on. Once we work on some current math problems I fill in the missing gaps with some basic math help. We work together, but show them different ways to work the problems. I enjoy guiding them to Independance at a rate that they are comfortable with.
