Nancy was the first one to believe in me as an artist. And when I might have thrown in the towel out of self doubt, she encouraged me to keep going, to keep digging deeper. She encouraged me to try different mediums until I had found the one that works for me. She created a safe, non-judgemental space for us to explore our creativity while having fun. And we had so much fun!
Nancy lives and breathes art! She truly believes that there is an artist in each and every one of us. And she is gifted in bringing out that artist in all of us.
She gave a gentle nudge and a beautiful beginning to my dream of being an artist and for that, I am forever grateful.

When I lived in the same city as Nancy, I was part of a women's painting circle every Wednesday at her house. I looked forward to it each week as Nancy nourished us with artistic inspiration, support and sisterhood. This was sacred time for me on my day off from work. During those gatherings at Nancy's, her encouraging presence and support helped me grow in both confidence and skill as an artist and a person.

Magic wands was such a joyful art experience for my kindergarten class. Nancys engagement with my students was not only loving, but attentive and creative. When she walked into our classroom the children lit up with joy!!! They would all say “Ms. Nancy is here” some of kids even gave her a nick name “ fancy nancy”. Her art projects were always kid friendly and she was prepared with enough materials for each student. Nancy spirit and enthusiasm is the most beautiful thing, she’s creative and energetic and our students are so proud to have had her teach art to them.
