About Alexander
I have 14 years of experience as a trainer, and a lifetime of experience in fitness and exercise. I have personally experienced over 120 lbs weight loss, and have helped clients from all walks of life achieve a variety of goals.
When I was younger I weighed 300 lbs. At one point, I got my hands on a personal training textbook. Eventually, some of the techniques that I applied began to help me lose weight as a steady rate until about one year later I had lost 120 lbs. During that process, I became very passionate about showing others how to improve their lives through exercise and good nutrition.
NASM* Certified Personal Trainer NASM Weight Loss Specialist NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist NASM Behavior Change Specialist *National Academy of Sports Medicine My original qualifications were through ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association). Currently I am studying gymnastics conditioning. I practice and study Shaolin Kung Fu, which sometimes shows in my training style.

After getting a general health and exercise history, I talk to my client about their goals and reasons for wanting to achieve those goals. I take new clients through three complimentary sessions, which are as much for the client to try out my training methods as they are for me to discover the client's capabilities. I would describe my training style as very methodical and calculated, beginning with the fundamentals and progressing as is appropriate to keep the client properly challenged and moving forward.
I have worked with kids, young adults, and older adults. I have helped clients lose significant weight, gain significant strength, and improve at sports. I have trained a client for an NPC bikini competition. I have trained people with many types of medical conditions.
It's not a good idea to shop based on price alone. Be sure that you are getting a good value as well. Be sure the trainer is reliable and punctual. Find out what other services are included with the cost of training. An effective trainer offers supportive services in addition to the workout. A great trainer wants you to stay on track even when the trainer is not around.

Details
After trying your first three sessions absolutely free, pricing is quite simple. There are no complicated packages or contracts. No membership fees (or enrollment fees). Half hour sessions are simply $30 per session. For two people training together it is $20 per person per session. There are also hourly rates. Please inquire about pricing for three or more people.
