About John
I've been teaching photography at Prince George's Communinty College for almost 10 years. I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Ca in 1994. My passion for photography shows, every student I've taught has learned a great deal. My web-site is (concealed information)
I love photography, it's been my passion all my life. I enjoy sharing that passion with others, through teaching.
Started doing Photography workshops, then was offered a job teaching at Prince George's Community College.

Lecture, Hands on, Practice photography.
I've worked with students of all ages, at the college where I work we accept students ages 13 and up. I've worked with professionals learning photoshop, to retirees wanting to learn more photography.
Look for someone who can give you hand-on experience, not just lecture, someone who will be there while you practice photography.
After photographing an event with other photographers, seeing that mine were the best.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If you feel like you’re taking up a lot of your host teacher’s time, keep a list of questions as you think of them, then ask several at once. Seriously, though, it’s really not a bother. Most experienced professionals love sharing their expertise, so ask away.
