I believe that if you don't enjoy piano then thier is no point of playing it. I not like an old man named Mr Randall which just shout and teaches the student in a wrong way. I truly care about the student. The student should always learn at their own pace and what they want to learn. I'm young and am doing this for a hobby and I my students can find playing the piano as a hobby and not a punishment.
I started playing the piano at the age of 6 and played all the way till I turned 16. One day I just felt like taking a hiatus from the piano. About half year ago I picked up piano. I had good muscle memory so it only took me about 3 weeks to get caught up. I accidentally found this website one day by accident and decided to start teaching!

I would say I work best with young adults as they learn the fastest at that time. I feel that you actually shouldn't start playing piano a a very young age like 4 or 7. 10 is the best time to learn the piano in my eyes. That when your fingers can stretch all the way to play all the octives. Personally I have worked with all people with all ages. I just wouldn't recommend my class if you are too young. Also at that age, it is incapable of the to practice without supervision at home.
Play what you want to play! Piano isn't a punishment, it's a passion! You should never feel or be forced to learn the piano in my opinion.

Good
over all an good teacher. I would reccomend this teacher to a student above the age of 14. My 7 year old Daughter Sara tried the free class and I guess his teaching style wasn't really for her. He really did try to give her an assignment which I completely understood but my daughter just didn't understand. Don't get me wrong i not saying he's a bad teacher, I just think that his target demographic is young adults.
Good and flexible teacher, his teaching style is very approachable. I like the facetime classes
Teacher is very friendly, enthusiastic and most importantly can actually teach. His class was very intresting and at no point did i feel tense, akward or boring. Overall Wu is a great Keyboard teacher teacher.
