About Janis
Hi, my name is Janis and I love teaching! I've taught piano for 10 years, performed in concerts, and worked as a church pianist. I teach my students how to play correctly while having fun. Whether you are a beginner or have a few years experience, work with me and you will improve. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
I worked with a teacher as a teenager for six years who performed with the symphony in New Orleans.
I then used what I learned to play for several different churches for many years. I have taught students throughout the years who were successful in achieving their personal goals.

I use many different methods tailored to the student. Each person's age is important, so I have pieces geared to their level.
