About Barbara
***Not currently accepting new students***
I accept all ages (3+) and teach many different instruments! I can do beginner lessons on almost any instrument. I offer a laid-back studio environment but never compromise on the quality of music education. I love to integrate ear-training, theory, popular music, classical music history, technology, and performance opportunities.
I love the challenge of finding a student's learning style and what motivates them. Learning an instrument should be both fun and challenging!
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance, as well as a pre-credential for K-12 music. See my website for my full bio.

I always offer a free no-pressure first lesson for evaluation and getting to know the student to make sure we're a good fit. Then I recommend the lesson length, books, etc that I think would work best for them.
