-Former Artist with Tony Bennett's Exploring the Arts Foundation and Martina Arroyo's Prelude to Performance.
-Composer of "Happy Birthday David: The Musical!" which premiered at the Peoples Improv Theater Mainstage in 2017.
-Has performed backup vocals for Tony Bennett, Josh Groban, and Jennifer Hudson.
-10 years experience teaching children, adolescent, and adults in classroom and private lesson setting.
-7 years experience leading musical ensembles and as a Tenor section leader in various churches.

I started teaching while in Undergrad and quickly fell in love with it. I've taught for the last 10 years while enjoying a career as a Performer and Music Director. I think it's important for Artist to pass down what they know to the next generation.
I've a Bachelors of Music in Voice from Conservatory of Music and a Master of Arts from the Aaron Copland School of Music.
I was a Music Director at Plymouth Church in Brooklyn Heights where I was Tenor Section leader during each service, I accompanies and led the Children's Choir, and also taught private music lessons in voice, piano, and theory.
I was also the In-House Sub at the Berkeley Carroll School in Park Slope, Brooklyn with priority toward the arts department. Any given day and time, I was working with the choir, to the jazz band, to the strings ensemble, to the public speaking class. All of which, my skills as a musician serves useful.

Ice breakers are a great tool, especially when working with young artist for the first time. It's important to understand, not only a student's voice but also their mentality. Singing is an emotional response and doing one's best to understand another has been helpful for my students as well as myself being a singer. Seeing what a student is capable of or has the potential of doing, making a student excited about the possibilities of their own voice, and lots of positive reenforcement I think are key. Every student learns at their own pace and adapting to each students needs can be really important to their growth so when working with a new students, it's important to try a bunch of stuff and find what works best.
I've worked with middle and high school students in public and independent schools. I've worked with children ages 5-16 as a Music Director at a church where I led the children's choir and taught music lessons.
I've also coached and prepared singers, actors, and dancers for Broadway/Opera auditions.
As a Voice Coach I specialize in Operatic, French/Italian/German Art Song, Musical Theater, and the Great American Songbook repertoire. Be ready to work on interpretation/phrasing/diction and really turning a song into a piece of art.
While living in Paris, France I recorded my first EP and have finally released it on streaming platforms!
