About George
I provide a unique perspective since I always treated piano as an enjoyment and passion. I truly love the instrument and am eager to teach other people about what I know about it.
One of the most satisfying things is hearing my students start to understand a piece and how it should sound. Ultimately you should play the piano for the incredible sounds and melodies it can make!
I got started when I was in high school and taught in the "Little Mozart" program at KCD. I then took an interest in college to teach my friends who had always wanted to learn.
I had taken private lessons from 5th grade until junior year in college. I had a wonderful private instructor who I was with for that entire time. I then went to Uofl's School of Music for about a year and studied piano there. I taught preschoolers when I was in highschool and currently have been teaching adults.

I wil first ask them why they want to learn to play the piano. This to me is the most important question since some students might not have a real passion to learn. If I hear that they are unsure about their motivation to learn, then I am more motivated to show them why it should be learned.
I have worked with preschoolers but more recently have been with adults. By adults I mean college age or above. I am open to teaching all ages and personalities.
