About Oscar
I have played piano since the age of 3. Right now as a freshman film composer at NYU, I would like to teach not only basic skills of piano but also a little bit of composition ideas. I am not traditionally or classically trained, but I love to dabble in all musical styles: pop, classical, electronic, film, Chinese... As a student majoring in music composition myself, I might not be the most skillful pro out there to teach you all the techniques of piano, but I am confident that my patience, passion for education, and experience with piano can be a pretty good start-up teacher. This will also be my first legit experience to teach students piano, which is exciting! I hope I can not only work with my students but also share our passion for music as friends.
