About Emily
I am currently a college student at SAGU who loves music and working with kids. Piano is a passion of mine and I am thrilled to have gotten to take 8 years of lessons and participate in many performances. 4 years ago I began to teach both private home lessons to individuals and to students at a small school. I would love to work with your family!
I enjoy working with children and love sharing my passion for music with them. It is so wonderful to see their faces light up as they show me a song they finally figured out or as they perform for their parents for the first time. Watching someone show off a newly memorized piece or joyfully recognize a classical song that they are sight reading makes the whole process so worth it.
I took 8 years of piano lessons. I participated in many events, however my favorites were the TMTA ensemble performances.

I use the Faber piano cirriculum for beginning students which gives a good musical foundation along with piano instruction. We will work on learning songs, technique, and music theory. Homework will include daily piano practice and a few pages of theory book-work.
