About Laura
I hold an MSSW from The University of Texas and am a licensed social worker. I have substituted in 4 school districts in the Denver area, worked in DPS as a program leader in the Discovery Link program and have completed all PDIS training modules for preschool and school age teaching. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and spend a good deal of time planning each session according to the student's learning style and progress.

I utilize online learning websites for games and activities and supplement with special materials in elementary subjects. I will meet with students physically in order to use my materials at any preferred site in the Denver area. I work well with Special Needs students due to my MSSW and social work experience.
