About
Hi my name is Carly! I’m passionate about psychology and love helping others understand how the mind works. I’ve spent years exploring psychology for fun: reading textbooks, learning about mental disorders, brain function, and human behavior. My special interest in psychology, combined with my personal perspective as someone who is autistic, gives me a unique insight into how people think, learn, and experience the world. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, clear explanations and helping students connect ideas to real life. Whether you’re studying for class, preparing for exams, or just curious about the brain, I’m here to make learning engaging and understandable. I am a former child specialist and used my knowledge about psychology and child development while working. I also come from a large family with 20 nieces and nephews, and I have two children. I have frequently helped my nieces and nephews study for exams, tests, and even home schooled a few of them as well as my eldest child. I took AP psychology, child development, and anatomy and physiology class in school, as well as studied sociology, clinical psychology, behavioral psychology, experimental psychology, developmental psychology, evolutionary psychology, and health psychology in my free time.
