About Esther
I am currently a Lead Teacher working is a preschool program. I believe in hands-on education as well as altering a lesson to best serve the needs of a child. I have been working with children for over four years and will receive my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education this spring.

My first formal teaching position was at age twenty-one. Previous to that I had about three years of working with children as a nanny.
I currently work as a Lead Teacher in a Toddler Room at the center in my state. Previously I worked as a One-to-One aide in an integrated classroom before moving to Ohio. I was also a nanny for many years working with children from three weeks to eleven years.

When working with a new student, first I would play with them using toys I would evaluate their knowledge and ability to identify, count, spell their name, etc.
I have worked with many different types of students with many different needs and backgrounds. Having worked in an integrated classroom I experience with children in special education.
I would advise a student or parent to look for some with patience and who will go the extra mile to make sure that there is success.
