About Jen

I love being able to help students reach their goals, both academically and personally. I create individual approaches for each student to tailor specifically to their needs.

I realize that every one is unique, and as a result everyone has unique ways in which they effectively learn. I pride myself in working with my students to figure out how to best serve them, and find ways to keep our sessions engaging and measurable so they can hit success milestones and track their progress throughout our time working together.

I have experience with all age groups, from elementary to adult. I am also TESOL and TEFL certified, with extensive experience in teaching English as a second language.

I look forward to connecting with you and am happy to answer any questions you may have!

To me, there's no greater feeling than growth. Watching people surpass their own expectations and foster confidence in their own abilities is as rewarding as it gets for me! I love to build a connection with my students and work together to unlock their fullest potential. Sometimes with just a little guidance, the "impossible" suddenly seems attainable and unlocks a whole new set of goals to continue on this path of growth.

I have been working with students for years and tutoring specifically since May 2019. I am also TESOL and TEFL certified and have expansive experience teaching English as a first language.

About the lesson

I create tailored approaches for my students after seeing how they best learn. I align with them on their goals, create an action plan that is both manageable but effective, and frequently check in with my students to see if they feel as though they are achieving the success they anticipated. I keep things extremely interactive and light, as I believe there is already enough stress involved when it comes to academics. We keep learning fun and focus the results more on personal success and growth than arbitrary goals.
