My daughter has been taking Zoom classes with Melissa for several months. Melissa was recommended to us and I was
skeptical of having lessons via Zoom. I was concerned about the effectiveness of the lessons since they weren't in person.
From my daughter's first lesson with Melissa, I knew the issue of lessons being on Zoom would not be a problem at all. Melissa's positive and warm personality helped my daughter warm up immediately. Her dynamic and engaging teaching style is motivating and fun. It amazes me how much my daughter's confidence and ability have grown over these past three months.

I played guitar and sang since I was 11 but never in front of people. I had a full time job when I took my first lesson from Melissa. I was so scared to sing in front of people and my voice was soft and nothing to brag about. Since taking lessons from Melissa I have now moved to a full time music business! I sing everyday at restaurants, festivals, weddings, corporate events and have even opened for Sawyer Brown, Lee Greenwood, FOZZY and have toured with the margarita festival! Now as a full time recording artist I've won 8 international awards for my music! All this started with Melissa believing in me and working with me. I met with her in person as well as online and both were effective and transformative! She shelped me with my voice, my presentation, my auditions and most importantly my overall confidence as an artist! I've had my kids taking online lessons with Melissa for around 3 years and can not say enough good things! They have grown so much and she's made it a really positive experience! You always leave the lesson feeling empowered and really good about yourself because she's great at giving you constructive feedback while finding so many things to be genuinely impressed with.

My son (age 15) is really serious about acting and wants that to be his career and she's been incredible in helping him achieve professional levels and to keep growing in a very positive way! Both in acting and singing!

With my daughter (age 10), she's been working on her confidence and anxiety and Melissa has been great with that!

So they have both needed very different things and she has met them exactly where they are at.

I have loved the convience of online lessons as a mom. I can fold laundry while I sit next to my kids who are working with her face to face but without the hassel of having to drive them anywhere.

I also appreciate how flexible Melissa is, not only in her reaching but also in scheduling and working with in general.

I love how she creates extra resources and opportunities for her students, like master classes and recitals!

We've loved her so much, I've decided to be brave and I'm going to start voice lessons with her too! I know she will make me feel safe and celebrated and help me grow and get back in touch with myself in a way that's special to music.
