About Shelcey
I have over a decade of experience providing dyslexia therapy online and in-person as a Certified Academic Language Therapist. I have worked with students as young as 6 up to high school juniors. I advocate for families and students in the school setting to ensure students' needs are met in the best way possible. In addition to being a dyslexia therapist, I am also a licensed speech therapist and use all of my skills to support my students' literacy goals. I believe that students can't really show progress until they overcome the dreaded anxiety and stress that result from struggles with reading. I utilize the Science of Reading literacy approach and personal connection to help my families reach their goals!
