Love my Steel Drum lessons with Harry Best...smile the entire time. Harry's a great pan player but is a very patient teacher with an easy-going island attitude who makes learning so much fun! You can start playing easy tunes immediately even if you don't have prior music knowledge. It's a far commute for me but totally worth the miles.

Taking lessons with Harry is really enjoyable. I've taken classes with him for over seven years. He will work on specific sections of music with me to make sure I get the rhythm and notes correctly. We work at a pace that is reasonable for me. He combines improvisation and fundamental music theory in all his classes. He provides written materials and will try and find music as requested. Highly recommended.
