About Roger
Hello, I'm Roger. I earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Indiana State University in 1987. All those years ago, I tutored in a writing center, helping freshman college students with their compositions, and taught in summer school programs. I was a stay-at-home parent and later drove a school bus for several years. I now live in Thailand with my wife Mong and teach English as a second language online.

I am optimistic and find the positive with every student. I am a positive supporter and encourage my students to continue and grow. Studying English or learning a new language takes time. It is a marathon instead of a sprint race.
