About Kary

I have neen playing Tennis for forty years. How Ii teach is a three step approach. 1. Conditioning 2. Drills 3. Match strategies. Friendly competition. Can teach groups children and adults.

I like to see progress in my students and accomplishments. Tennis can bring long lasting friendships.

I started teaching in my hometown in Detroit helping with clinics. When I retired some parents at the neighborhood courts ask me to show their children.

I mentored under tennis coach Vic Patula while learning to play tennis. I have attended workshops by the USTA and certified Play Safe Sports

About the lesson

I evaluate the students skills. Then map out a plan. For beginners I start for the very basics. Stress practice and conditioning.

Kary was very informative, knowledgeable and encouraging. I had a blast working with him. He really focused on the parts of my game that needed the most work. He made me sweat, which I loved. He always seems to work at or just above my level to keep me progressing in the game and not to much ahead to deter me. Highly recommend Kary for any type of player.
