About Mark
I am a former collegiate player and have played on the comeptitave level. I bring experience teaching privately for youth programs sponsored by the USTA. I have also had the pleasure to be a hitting partner for local pro level players. I bring a technical and fun approcach to the sport that cannot be denied by the passion I have for tennis. I am also the head coach of the Brearley varsity tennis programs and Columbia.
I enjoy watching the progress a player in just one or two lessons and the joy on their face when they relize it as well.
I have worked at Roosevelt island with the juniors program and earning certification in the under 10s teaching program. I also have coaching experience from three season as a varsity head coach with 16-2 record.

Normally I start the lesson by hitting with the player to detect the strengths and weaknesses during a warm-up. I will then share what I observed with the student and discuss the best lesson that will work for them and what they want to focus on.
