Former NCAA Division I Varsity Volleyball Player for the Tribe at the College of William & Mary. Current Head of Program for Girls Indoor Volleyball and Varsity Head Coach at Merritt Island Christian School. Current Varsity Assistant Coach for Girls Beach Volleyball at MICS. On coaching staff with Cape Coast Volleyball Club's STARS program and Summer League. Offers private lessons and small group clinics for all levels - geared towards technical skill development, game knowledge, and court strategy.
My volleyball career spans 20 years, with experience at the elite level: NCAA Division I Competition, Bring It USA International Competition, USA Volleyball National Team Development Program (formerly USA Volleyball High Performance), Team Florida High Performance, Central Florida Club Volleyball (Orlando Volleyball Academy and Cape Coast Volleyball Club), and Brevard County High School Volleyball (Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy). I have been recognized for excellence in the sport throughout my career, receiving honors for:

I start our first lesson with an all-skills assessment, taking adequate time to locate key strengths and areas for improvement. This is an important step to evaluating and enhancing technique, agility and fitness, and game IQ. From here, I prepare a tailored training program with measurable goals to track the athlete’s progress.
Primary athlete base is Jr High through High School
Find a coach that builds you up, encourages you to give your all, and trains you to grow as an all-around athlete: skill development, mental toughness, game strategy
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Many young athletes are eager to claim a position (outside hitter, middle blocker, setter, etc) and train exclusively within a particular set of skills. I encourage athletes to set a strong foundation in the core skills of serving and passing, and exploring natural strengths from there! Ask your coach what he/she thinks that you should improve on and remain flexible to moving into new roles and positions!
