About Nia
Hi!
I'm Nia. I have been studying Spanish for nearly ten years and I studied Spanish at the University of Warwick. I received As and A*s in Spanish at GCSE and A level. I am very used to teaching all ages, having been a tutor for 2 years at Bright Young Things, where I specialised in 11+ Maths and English prep and English Lit and Lang for GCSE and A level. My lessons will revolve around getting to know your weaknesses and then helping your improve your ability as well as establish a foundation that will be essential in your language learning for years to come.
My lessons are filled with lots of activities to keep your brain working in a fun and engaging way.

I teach Spanish a topic at a time and do writing, listening, speaking and reading activities for each topic. I also do weekly vocabulary tests (to expand my student's vocabulary) and verb tests (to help them remember how to conjugate lots of different verbs in Spanish). A lesson is an hour. My lessons are for any beginner/intermediate student. I will adapt my lessons accordingly based on the student's age.
At Bright Young Things, I specialised in tutoring for the 11+ plus exam (verbal and non-verbal reasoning, English and Maths). I also taught English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-level students.
