About Monica
Inspired by 7 years as a devoted practitioner I branched out to develop a method that offers a low-impact approach to target the powerhouse muscles (back, pelvis and abdomen). I've helped students create a systematic approach to gain the core strength required for a safe and healthy inversion practice and to maintain ergonomic health and stability off the mat. Along with this my sequences are alignment based allowing a revisiting for seasoned practitioners on the beautiful nuances of each posture in an asana series and a great introduction for beginners. What I hope everyone will gain is the cultivation of strength, mindfulness and intelligence in their asana practice.
I have my 200 hr teacher training certification through Yogaworks and am in the process of obtaining a Pilates Certification and will be completing my Mat Pilates training at the end of January 2021.
