About Shubha
I have been a student of yoga since childhood. My grandfather was an Ashtanga yoga practitioner and was the first person to introduce me to yoga and meditation. Over the years, I have practiced in various yoga studios in India as well as in the United States and have been exposed to a wide range of teaching styles.
After all these years of being a yoga student, it was during the latter part of 2015, upon encouragement from fellow yogi friends, that I decided to pursue Yoga Teacher Training. I completed my training from LifePower Yoga Spring of 2016 and started to teach soon after.
My personal yoga style is a fusion between yoga's classical roots as well as my own contemporary insights. I often introduce themes, stories, as well as scientific facts into my yoga classes , which I believe brings greater meaning to my teaching.
I consider myself very fortunate to be now able to pursue my passion full time.
