About Takira
Hi! I'm Takira, a yoga teacher who loves helping people discover what their bodies are capable of through movement.
Yoga has been part of my life for over a decade, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of clients—from professional boxers and casual runners to new mums—helping them achieve their goals, whether that’s building strength, improving flexibility, or finding balance and relaxation.
When I'm not on my mat, you'll likely find me in the gym where I training Muay Thai, Aerial and weightlifting. This diverse background allows me to bring a unique perspective to my teaching, blending strength and mobility with breathwork and mindfulness. My sessions are focused on what feels good for your body, while also pushing you to explore new possibilities.
I believe that yoga is for everyone, and my goal is to create a space where you feel supported and encouraged, no matter where you are in your journey. Whether you're recovering from an injury, looking to deepen your practice, or just wanting to de-stress, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

My teaching is rooted in the idea that everyone has the potential to exceed their own expectations. Through a combination of breathwork, movement, and a deep understanding of individual needs, we'll work together to discover that your body is capable of more than you initially imagined.
Location: online and in-person
In person sessions can take place in your home or at my private studio space (currently fully booked until Jan 16 2025.) Alternatively, a space in Islington can be hire for an additional £30ph. For all in person sessions, I will bring the required equipment, no need to purchase blocks, straps or mats!
Session length:
Sessions can vary from 45 minutes to 1 hour, please choose your preferred time.
Typical Session:
We will begin covering any problem areas and then work into the full-body practice, offering modifications and adjustments along the way. Option to tailor your session based on needs.
Sessions are designed for all abilities. Please make sure to highlight any health or medical conditions I should be aware of upon booking.
